Abstract :

Women in Afghanistan have been going through trials, tribulations and negotiating the uphill road to shape their destinies and carve a niche for them. Afghanistan has had an ongoing epidemic of violence for which the victims have largely been women. It has a history of wounded narratives reverberating the harrowing tales that spring from the social, political, economic, and psychological milieu. The narratives evolving articulate the tales of subjection, fate, and choice combining the cultural flavor.
